Bastide St. Clement
This beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse is situated on the edge of the village of La Garde Freinet in France with sweeping views across the peaceful chestnut forests of the St Clement valley to the Castle of Grimaud and beyond.
The medieval village of La Garde Freinet has colorful, twice weekly markets and numerous shops and restaurants. Towards the coast are Grimaud and Cogolin, two delightful hilltop villages worth a visit. There is golf at Beauvallon, a variety of watersports along the coast, not to mention horse-riding and hiking trails. Bastide St Clement is just far enough inland to avoid the crowds, yet within 30 minutes of the bustling town of St. Tropez and the beaches of the Mediterranean.
